Floor Clerk / Closer

Summary of Responsibilities:

Floor Clerks provide exceptional and enthusiastic service during all activities including, but not limited to, register transactions, addressing customer questions, promoting store programs and events, processing ownership applications, answering phones, store conditioning, assisting new hire training, providing peer-coaching and feedback, supporting other departments and other tasks as assigned by the Floor Manager.

 Closing shifts will include following a store-walk check list including spot cleaning, product facing, emptying trash & recycling, communicating areas needing attention, washing floors, and bathrooms.

There is one or two part-time hourly positions for a Floor Clerk and/or Closer position. Those hired in this position will be trained as a floor clerk and may also trained as a Closer to help to reset the store for the next day.

Evenings and weekends will be required, however, once trained may also be scheduled for non-closing shifts if needed and available.

The Clerk position is $16.90/hour (DOE) and when working the Closer shift will be paid a $0.50/hour differential. Floor Clerk job description here.

PREP COOK

Summary of Responsibilities:

In cooperation with other team members, responsible for food preparation to the Co-op standards. Includes prepping ingredients and assembly for menu items, following established recipes for packing items for deli cases, hot bar, salad bar, product stocking and rotation, wash dishes and ensure a clean, safe kitchen work environment.

There is one (or two) part-time hourly position(s) approximately 15-30 hours per week and must include evening and weekend availability.

Benefits include a minimum of 40 hours PTO in the first year of employment and an employee discount and potential cross-training into other departments upon completion of initial training.
