Summary of Responsibilities: Working under the direction and guidance of the Fresh Senior Manager (FSM), the Kitchen Supervisor implements strategies and procedures to ensure the efficient and safe production of prepared food products in Chico Natural Food Co-op’s (the Co-op) kitchen and bakery, and facilitates the oversight of the kitchen employees to ensure adherence to policy, procedure, and production of high-quality products.

Summary of Responsibilities: Assists with the daily tasks in the Fresh Department which includes scheduling within Produce, Perishable, and Kitchen departments. Duties include receiving, prepping, stocking, fresh produce and perishable items. ensuring accurate signage. Work in the kitchen includes prepping ingredients and assemble for menu items, following established recipes and with proper food-handling guidelines. In addition, this position answers customer questions and helps customers in their selection of produce, perishable, or kitchen items.
There are two part-time hourly positions, approximately 15-20 hours per week varying times.

Produce Lead Clerk
Summary of Responsibilities: Lead Clerks help to keep the department shelves, coolers, and displays fully stocked utilizing proper rotation philosophy. Receive and check in product as needed, submit orders as needed.
In addition to Fresh/Produce Clerk duties, assists with team training and coordinating operational activities of the department for a specific shift. Provides support and training to Fresh Clerks and helps the Fresh Manager and Produce Supervisor meet the goals and objectives of the department.
This is a part-time lead level position, approximately 29 hours per week varying times.
