DONATIONS

CNFC is eager to be involved in community events. However, we are still only a small local business with a limited budget for donations. Please be aware of the following guidelines that help us determine donations.

We give consideration to nonsectarian, nonpartisan organizations and events that fit into one or more of the following criteria:

• Co-op related

• Focused on the environment

• Food related

• Local community groups or organizations

• Local groups in and around the neighborhoods served by Chico Natural Foods Cooperative

• Limited to one donation per organization in a calendar year

If you are planning a project that fits our criteria, please feel free to contact us regarding a donation. Donations are reviewed on a monthly basis, so we need you to submit your request at least 2 weeks in advance of your fundraiser or event. We give all eligible donations equal consideration and cannot expedite or make exceptions for requests made after the deadline. Decisions are based on factors such as the group's consistency with CNFCs mission, need, the number of people who would benefit from the donation, as well as the funds available in our budget.
