Global Ends Policy

Chico Natural Foods Cooperative sets forth these Ends to serve as a broad framework for policy-making and operations. These Ends are the good we seek to offer, and to whom, with our Cooperative:

Our Ends

Financial Prosperity: We will achieve financial excellence while following best management practices in the development of programs that will offer sponsorship back to the local community.

Community Engagement: We will improve the social, financial, and environmental health of the local community.

Growth and Development: We will develop systems and facilities that support the growth and expansion of sales and services for our members and our community.

Proactive Leadership: We will secure the trust and respect of the community as a locus for the inflow and output of positive ideas; we will become inclusive to a larger population.

Sustainability: We will achieve a sustainable business model that prioritizes the mindful management of resources and the evolution of the organic food trade.

A Living Cooperative: We will attract, encourage, inspire, and develop empowered and engaged team members and leaders.
